Fresh tasty homemade food, here at The Millwood cafe if you haven’t been along and tried us yet please do. Quality ingredients are used on every plate. We have a large menu something to choose for everyone . We do cater for gluten free. Every week we offer a special Dish. Please look out on our boards in the shop.Please don’t forget as everything is made fresh, sometimes there is a wait. We are not a fast food cafe. The lights will dim… the clues will be hidden… and someone in the room will be a murderer…

After talking with so many of our wonderful customers, we’ve decided it’s time to bring something a little different to The Millwood Café…
A Murder Mystery Evening is coming!

Before we reveal all the details, we’d love to see how much interest there is, as this will be a booking-only event with limited places available.

It is with great sadness that we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Group due to low attendance.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the group. We truly appreciate your involvement.

Unfortunately, with only one or two people attending, we are unable to continue running the group or the activities and events we had planned. The group was created to bring the community together, help people meet others, reduce isolation, and support mental health and wellbeing.

We would love to reopen if there is enough interest. If you would like to attend from September 2026, please register your interest by sending us a message or emailing [email protected]. If enough people would like to join, we will be happy to restart the group.

The group is completely free and runs on Wednesday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with tea and biscuits provided.

It is a shame to pause the group, but we hope this is only temporary. Thank you again for your support, and we hope to welcome the group back in the near future.

Being in this industry. You meet some amazing and very special customers. They come in and you become really close. One in particular, a man who I absolutely adored my favourite gentleman and that’s what he really was . The nicest customer you could meet has sadly passed away today . I’m absolutely devastated for his beautiful family . I’m so glad that I got to see him in this life and our paths crossed . You will be missed dearly RIP our Stanly
