Back in March, we received a call from Countryfile asking if they could come and film on the beach and of course, we jumped at the opportunity! 🌊🎥

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the fantastic crew, the incredible volunteers, and the lovely Anita Rani to our little slice of heaven.

The episode explores the amazing wildlife found around our coastline, with a special focus on Northey Island.

For walk-ins, we will always do our very best to accommodate you where possible. If we are at capacity and unable to seat you, we warmly welcome you to try our delicious carvery next door at The Deckhouse, freshly prepared by our chef team.⁠

We always endeavour to maintain our usual service speed; however, as we have a small kitchen, if we are particularly busy, waiting times may be a little longer than usual. We really appreciate your patience and understanding on what will be a very busy day, and thank you for bearing with us while our team works hard to look after everyone as best as we can.⁠

Summer menu coming soon. We can’t wait to tell you what Chef Tom and Janie have been working on in the View Kitchens. If you like Ottolenghi vibes, you’ll love what’s coming! Along with our seafood platters and Maldon Oysters that will be back on the menu soon.

Life is…. This!
Escaping to the sea, with great food and freedom. Even in this wind you can sit and watch the world go by or walk the Saltmarsh Coastal path towards Goldhanger and you’ll need all the wild sweet peas 🫛 growing along our seawall. The sea lavender is coming into bloom. Samphire is sprouting, fresh sea grass is growing. We don’t just sell smiles here we make them stay!
