Our monthly Supper Club returns this Thursday ✨

This month, Damian is cooking a menu inspired by Elizabeth David, whose travels around southern Europe helped shape Britain’s love affair with Mediterranean food.

As ever, expect big flavours, shared tables and plenty of wine.

£60pp for 5 courses. Menu:

Bread and butter
Oysters, cucumber, dill

Hors d’oeuvres
Quails eggs, radishes, celery salt and mayonnaise, saucisson

Grilled mackerel
ragout of tomatoes, black olives and capers

Roast Somerset Saxon chicken
allumettes, green salad

English blueberries, lime sugar, mint and creme fraiche

Last week’s Supper Club was special. ✨

Guests arrived to drinks in the garden while lamb al Asador cooked slowly over the fire, before taking their seats in the glasshouse for beef tartare, Cantabrian anchovies and chalk stream trout Niçoise.

The star of the evening was, of course, the lamb, served with ratatouille and new season potatoes, followed by apricot and almond tart with Jersey cream.

One to remember. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
