There’s something special about setting up in the middle of nowhere.
Just me, the machine, the smell of fresh coffee, and that moment the day begins to unfold.
I’ve always loved the whole pulling up somewhere, creating a warm little atmosphere out of a small space.
One day I’m here, the next I’m somewhere else. It’s simple, but it’s magic.
Lately, I’ve been watching a few Japanese mobile traders again the kind who take such care in what they do, working in micro spaces turning square feet into a fully functional kitchen for example.
It reminded me why I started this.
The pride in every small detail, the quiet joy in preparation, the flow of making something meaningful in the moment.
When you run a business, it’s easy to get caught in the cycle
improve, grow, repeat.
But sometimes you’ve got to pause and remember: it’s not just coffee, it’s the feeling you create wherever you set up.
That’s the part I never want to lose sight of.
