This October, Minehead Cycling Club will proudly host the National Hill Climb Championship on the legendary Porlock Toll Road 🚴♀🏆.
For the first time in many years the National Hillclimb is to be held in the South West, making a change from the very short and very steep courses that have become common. The Porlock Tollroad offers a complete contrast, longer and steadier but most definitely uphill ↗.
It's a huge honour for our club and a fantastic opportunity to showcase one of Britain's most iconic climbs, along with the volunteers and members who make our club so special.
Over the coming months we'll be taking you behind the scenes as preparations continue, sharing stories from our members, celebrating our beautiful local roads and counting down to what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of racing.
Whether you're planning to race, spectate or simply cheer everyone on from the roadside, we'd love you to come along for the journey.
