We in the hospitality sector need more support from the government. Sign and support UK hospitality. ⚒️

The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.

This campaign is for everyone: businesses, customers, waiting staff, chefs, kitchen porters, bar staff, hotel teams, farmers, brewers, suppliers and producers.

WORLD CUP 2026. This year’s World Cup games will be played late evening and early hours of the morning. On that basis we will unfortunately not be able to use the marquee for games. All games will be shown in the pub. Both sides of the pub will have screens to show games and we will only be open late for England games. Repeats of the other late games will be shown through the day when available. We will not be ticketing any games or charging entry, it will be simply first come first served for seats. Also when we are full for England games we are full. We will not accept anymore customers once the pub is full. Our aim is for everyone to enjoy the games in comfort. Children will not be allowed in due to KO times. Alongside our kitchen menu we will be bringing back Navidogs available 12- 10pm throughout the World Cup. ⚒️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

VIDEO 2. Does anyone recognise this gentleman? He’s stole our drayman’s phones from his van this morning while he was delivering to us. Quite distinctive track suit and shape (out of) please drop us a message if you think you know him so we can forward to the police. A man trying to do a hard days work and this is what he gets. Anyone who has the urge to comment ‘his door should have been locked’ don’t bother.
