Daniel Curtis formally the sous chef from Doxford hall and Rachel Elliott formally from The Shoulder of Mutton have taken over the lease. We took over on Tuesday and were open for business as usual on Wednesday. Our aim is to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere to all customers old and new. We are proud to announce that the existing staff are standing by our sides and are making us feel very we

This week marks 8 years in the Widdy it also makes our last 8 weeks here at the Inn.
We have had a great time with you all but its time to hand over the reins.
We would like to thanks all our customers, staff past/ present and family for being part of our journey. It is a time us and our kids will not forget

Due to staff shortage, we will be closing at 5pm today (Friday). All affected bookings will be contacted by telephone as soon as possible.

We can not thank everyone enough, customers new and old but mostly our team who have gone above and beyond. Since re-opening our little pub the support has been overwhelming, although after much thought we have decided to remain closed on Mondays to let everyone enjoy some much needed time off to recover and spend some time with family. We hope you understand and will be back Tuesday to Sunday until further notice, kind regards Daniel, Rachel and everyone at the Widdrington Inn!

We will be opening our beer garden from Thursday the 6th of May.
With food, drinks & take away being served from
Thursday to Saturday 12 noon until 6pm
