First thing first... what the hell is Singalongajimbo? .
Jim Bennett runs an adult guitar/singing class for the Traditional Arts Partnership,of a Thursday evening in Mullaghbawn. So on Saturday night, in Setatnta Bar, Ti Chulainn we will have half a dozen guitars, a dozen singers and rakes of craic.
Everyone is encouraged to sing along (If they want to). There will be plenty of Irish songs of course, but a good dollop of Country, Rock, and even a bit of Soul. The songs could go from 'Will you Go Lassie Go' to 'Pink Pony Club, From 'Back home in Derry' to 'You're The One That I Want'. From Christy Moore to Paolo Nutini, from... well you get the drift... and nobody takes themselves too serious either. Everyone is welcome and you can sing whatever you like. Our performers will include a host of local talent including Jim himself, Padraig McCreesh, Damian Loughran, Paddy McVerry, Kevin Fox, Amy McCreesh &Liam O'Sullivan and more besides.
