✨ We’re back tomorrow! ✨

After a little TLC & a fresh new look for our stairs & landing, Toast Haus is reopening tomorrow and we can’t wait to welcome you back! Open 8:30.

Thank you to Ruth & her team at RPC Decorating for doing a great job.

Also, thank you to Ryan at RSM Home for recently sorting us out with lovely new faux leather cushions for our bench.

And finally, thank you to our lovely local, David for the fantastic painting of Toast Haus.

A little update from us…

We wanted to let everyone know that Toast Haus will now be closed until Tuesday 7th July, reopening as usual on Wednesday 8th July.

During this week we’ll be carrying out some planned painting and maintenance behind the scenes, as well as taking a short summer break.

As a small independent business, we work six days a week for most of the year, so every now and then it’s important for us to take a little time to rest and recharge.

Thank you, as always, for supporting our little café. We’re incredibly grateful for each and every one of you and can’t wait to welcome you back from Wednesday 8th July 🧡

🌞 Good news… we’re back tomorrow, and with the return of a previous best selling special!🌞

We’ll be open tomorrow and have a beautiful special for you too. With the extreme heat, our priority was our team’s welfare so thank you for your understanding,

The special is 16 hour oak-smoked BBQ beef brisket loaded potato & onion hash, served with melted cheddar & Red Leicester, spring onions & homemade ranch dressing.

🌞 With a local amber health alert still in place and similar temperatures forecast for tomorrow, we have decided to remain closed tomorrow (Friday). Our team’s welfare is of the upmost importance and whilst we don’t take this decision lightly, we believe it’s the right decision. We will reopen on Saturday. Thank you for your understanding 🌞

Team welfare is our priority and so have decided to close today. At 8am it was already 35c in the kitchen and that’s at the coolest part of the day. Temperatures went to 45c+ yesterday in our kitchen and today is even hotter!

☀️ Heatwave Opening Hours Update ☀️

Due to the extreme temperatures in our kitchen, we will be closing at 1pm today, Wednesday and Thursday.

Our opening hours will be 8:30am–1:00pm on these days to help protect the wellbeing of our team who are always work tirelessly.

Please also remember to stay hydrated, keep cool, and PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT walk your dogs during the hottest parts of the day as pavements can become dangerously hot for their paws.

On Saturday night, the Toast Haus team headed out to Bongo’s Bingo for our latest staff social 🎉

A great night spent together, plenty of laughs, good music, and a chance to catch up outside of work.

We’re incredibly grateful for the hard work, commitment, and positivity our team brings to Toast Haus every day, so it’s important to make time to celebrate and enjoy ourselves together too.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a great evening. 🧡
