Is this a cake trend that is here to stay?
Delivering this one across London was less anxiety inducing than a stacked cake.
Would I do it again, absolutely 👍 💯.
Do I prefer stacked cake umm 🤔 of course, always.
Driving with my heart in my mouth at every turn or bump in the road, I live for that adrenaline rush 😊😅

Modern minimalist vibes 🥰. This is a four-tier minimalist wedding cake designed with a modern, slim looking aesthetic.
The bottom half of the cake is covered in delicate, wafer paper ruffles for a “fabric-effect” textures, giving the appearance of crumpled silk.

My last cake of 2025 is this textured piece of art. It was made for an incredible young man stepping into adulthood, born on this day 18 years ago.

We are incredibly proud of you and the young man you’ve become, you are the best big brother, cousin, grandson anyone could ever ask for.

God put you in my arms tasked with taking care of you. I look forward to watching you grow even more into adulthood. I’m always going to have your back.

I almost didn’t post this because in my eyes it’s not ‘perfect’ but it is very real and taken in the moment. I’ll wait for the photographer’s pictures (will probably look much better 😊)

So as I wait for the New Year I have been thinking about the word ‘Perfect’.

Is perfection possible to achieve, will I ever be truly happy with something I make or will I constantly find a fault that only I can see.

To that end, I am relinquishing my need to get it right and ‘perfect’ every single time.
I’m going to give myself grace and acknowledge that it won’t always be but it will be very close.

God gave me a talent and next year I’m going to do what feels right and I may not post regularly but I’ll be in my kitchen doing what I love.

I’m calling this one ‘photo frames’ doh! Very original name I know 🫣🤭. I double dare you to find me a better name !

The way my brain works. She wanted rose gold ✅, pretty ✅ all her favourite things in it ✅ flavour ✅ something different ✅ (a lot of pointing last night 😂) trusted me. with the original art work.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Added wafer paper flowers, rice paper flower and there is even crinkled wafer paper .
