After consulting with our amazing kitchen team regards the extreme heat forecasts this week (Today Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th & Friday 26th) here is our plan at The Lion...
☀️ Reduced menu to mitigate rising temperatures from equipment, we will be running our lunch in the evening also to make up for any missing items off our Main menu 🥰
☀️ We will be closing our kitchen between the hours of 2.30pm and 5pm on the dates above to allow our team to take a well deserved break from the heat.
☀️ Our Restaurant & Bar is fully AIR CONDITIONED ❄️, welcome relief for all of our customers joining us over the next few days.
☀️ Customers with dogs are welcome to dine in our bar area and outside, however we strongly believe this forecasted extreme weather isn't ideal for our furry buddies and they should remain cool, in the shade at home.
☀️ All of our team will have unlimited access to iced drinks & ice creams/ice lollies throughout the day.
☀️ We always take the health & welfare of our team very seriously folks, and should the temperatures (monitored regularly) prove to present an unworkable environment for our team (even with this plan in place) we will, of course take further measures to protect them ❤ We'll keep you updated 🙂
