Gooseberry Fool 💖

Gooseberry compote (made in small batches with fresh Summer Gooseberries!) folded through sweet whipped cream, piped into a doughnut and topped with more compote and cream, plus fresh strawberry and mint.

One of favourites every Summer! If you haven’t tried Gooseberries before, they’re tart and sweet, a little sour - if you like Rhubarb, they’re for you!

Spread with banana & brown sugar paste, thick salted caramel and fresh banana slices, baked in the oven and then dipped in a brown butter, banana whipped glaze. Topped with dark chocolate shavings!

We’re popping up next weekend at the delicious Kith & Kin Whitley Bay!

We’re bringing the doughnuts and Kith & Kin will be making drinks (including their much requested BRAZILIAN LEMONADE).

We’ll still be open at the bakery in Hoults Yard -10am-3pm with the full July menu.

On the counter this month!

Starting this week up until Friday 31st July 🫶🏻

Lots of seasonal fruit this month that we’ve been looking forward to all year! Gooseberries, strawberries, elderflower, more delicious chuckleberries!

Plus, our all time most popular doughnuts, Creme Brulee is back, this month filled with a Speculoos Caramel Whipped Cream.

We also have a new glaze (Maple French Toast) and a new Bun (Banoffee!)

We started making fresh Beignets on weekends too - dusted with icing sugar fresh out of the fryer - keep an eye out those! Usually out around 11am-12pm.

We have an exciting pop up happening later this month too, which we’ll be posting details of later this weekend 🤩

Filled with Belgian Chocolate custard, topped with toasted marshmallow fluff, and crunchy ‘Graham Cracker’ crumb.

On the counter this June 💓
A Summer menu in full swing, making the most of as much seasonal fruit as we can!

One of favourites is back, we make it as soon as Strawberries are available - Eton Mess! This time, we’ve infused the smashed meringue with grated Tonka Bean, which tops fresh strawberry whipped cream.

We’re also making a yuzu mango version of the classic Peach Melba ice creams dessert….. mango & yuzu compote, raspberry cream, and fresh fruit!

We also have TWO buns on this month: Cinnamon Brown Butter Glazed AND Tiramisu (chocolate paste layers, dunked in a mascarpone espresso glaze and dusted with cocoa).

We’re really happy with these flavours and can’t wait for you to try them!

We’ve also been working on some new iced drink recipes launching this weekend PLUS the return of some favourite *cold* *doughnut* summer specials!! Keep your eyes peeled 👀
