After almost 9 unforgettable years, the time has come for me to hand over the keys and say goodbye to Tides. This coming Saturday 30th May will be our last day open.
As many of you will know, Tides as we know it will now come to an end as the new owners begin their own journey with a fresh vision for the restaurant. While it’s bittersweet saying goodbye to something that has meant so much, I’m genuinely excited to see where they take it and hope you’ll continue to support them with the same warmth, kindness and loyalty you’ve shown me over the years.
What started as a dream became something so much bigger because of the people around it.
To our incredible customers — thank you for your support, your laughter, your kindness, and for allowing us to be part of so many special moments over the years. Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, catch-ups, family meals and all the little everyday moments in between. Many of you became so much more than customers; you became friends.
To every member of staff, past and present — thank you. For your hard work, your passion, your patience, and for helping create something really special. Tides was never just a place; it was the people in it ❤️.
And to our suppliers, partners and everyone who supported us behind the scenes — thank you for always showing up and being part of the journey.
Running Tides has been one of the biggest chapters of my life — challenging, rewarding, emotional and unforgettable all at once. I’m leaving with a heart absolutely full of gratitude and memories I’ll carry with me for a very long time.
And while this chapter is closing… the tide always turns 🌊👀 There are some exciting things on the horizon for me, so keep an eye out.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Tides story. Every message, every booking, every recommendation, every smile across the room — I’ll never forget it.
