Welcome to the Smugglers Den Inn, a beautiful and idyllic 16th century thatched pub in the heart of the north Cornish countryside, yet not very far from the sea. A traditional bar with roaring log fire keeps thirsts quenched with a wonderful selection of local ales & wines, whilst a separate restaurant awaits with fantastic local produce served focusing on classic British dishes.

Pigeon update!😅 📣

We noticed some new arrivals on our front terrace yesterday, if you look closely, you can spot one of them being fed 🐣

A bit of random pigeon info: both mum and dad share parenting duties to keep the eggs warm until they hatch, the male usually takes the “day shift,” sitting on the eggs from mid-morning until late afternoon, while the female takes over for the evening and night shift 🐥

Once the chicks hatch, both parents continue working as a team to feed and care for their little ones ❤️
