We’ve been rather quiet on here lately, that’s because our lovely customers have been keeping us very busy! Serving cream teas since we opened at 10 means an emergency scone batch underway mid morning.
We’re here till 4:30 and tomorrow and Sunday too. The garden is looking lovely and we’d love to welcome you too.

We will be opening as normal this morning, with a slightly curtailed menu over lunchtime (no baked potatoes today!). Our lovely team will be doing their best in challenging conditions in our kitchen so please bear with us over the next couple of days until the temperature drops again.

Waking up to a review like this certainly puts a smile on our faces and a spring in our steps. We aim to give all of our customers the very best experience when they visit our Tea Room in our lovely little village.

We are absolutely delighted that as a result of our unannounced food hygiene inspection yesterday, we have retained our rating of 5
for both the Village Store and the Tea Room.
