The pub dates back to approximately 1760 and was surrounded by workers cottages; these were subsequently knocked down to make way for the pub’s car park and gardens. The Queen Adelaide (formally The Queen’s Head) first received a licence in 1838, but remained a ‘Beerhouse’ until 1961. We have room for all tastes, lagers, ciders and a user-friendly wine list and even a few cocktails should the occa

sion arise. We offer a varied home made food menu, making good use of local produce and have seasonal specials to tempt the tastebuds. With real beer, real food and real people the Queen Adelaide is well worth finding.
