We're throwing a jamboree to celebrate all the super cool wholesome stuff happening in our area, and raise awareness for some amazing organisations working hard to improve our city.
It's going to be a bit of mash-up of a day falling somewhere between a 'freshers fair' for community groups & societies, a variety show and a village fete focusing on the NR3 community.
Very excited for Blue’s NR3 @ The Rosebery to be taking over our kitchen that day serving their famous burgers, plus naughty shawarmas, loaded fries and desserts. There'll be plenty of veggie and vegan options on the menu so everyone can get stuck in to the grub!
Come and mingle with other good eggs. People that want to bring positive change to their neighbourhood. Find out about workshops, courses, volunteering and charitable opportunities.
We'll also be showcasing some of the events and community activities that take place here at The Artichoke pub so you can sample the awesome stuff that's on offer here from week to week:

There'll be some silly naff fete games and a tombola raising money for charity run by us too! Should be a laff. Maybe we'll put Cal in the stocks and throw wet sponges at him?
The team behind Our Stories, Our Power & The Shoebox Community Hub have been giving us a little hand getting the ball rolling and will also be there to tell you about the great work they're doing.
Big shout out to Dystopian knits for coming up with the embryonic concept and pulling on her networks!
Oh it happens to be on the last day of the NR3 beer mile too!
