It was such a pleasure to be part of the Shared Plates event at NAE this weekend! ✨
Seeing the community come together, connect, and share pieces of their culture through food was truly special.
Here’s what we brought to the table 🇵🇹👇
• Cheese & ham pastries – flaky, golden bites filled with savoury cheese and ham
• Pastel de nata – Portugal’s famous custard tarts with a crisp pastry shell and creamy centre
• Tuna rissóis – crispy fried pastries filled with a creamy tuna mixture
• Prawn rissóis – golden, crunchy parcels stuffed with a rich and flavourful prawn filling
• Coxinha – teardrop-shaped croquettes filled with seasoned shredded chicken, coated and fried to perfection
• Croquetes – deliciously seasoned minced meat croquettes, crispy on the outside and soft inside
• Bacalhau com natas – a comforting baked dish of salted cod, potatoes, onions, and cream
• Bifana – a traditional Portuguese sandwich with marinated pork, served in a soft bread roll
Grateful to have shared a taste of our culture with such an amazing crowd and hope to be part of many more of these events!❤️
