A quick word about last weekend…

Firstly, thank you to everyone for your patience while we battled a few technical gremlins before kick-off. We know it wasn’t the smoothest start, but we got everything up and running and the game was shown. Your understanding was very much appreciated!

Secondly… yes, we know it’s warm! 😅 We’re an old building full of character, and unfortunately air conditioning wasn’t exactly part of the original plans. We can promise plenty of cold pints though, and they’re a lot more enjoyable than reading complaints about the weather, the TV, the heat… and whatever else the complaint of the day might be! 😂🍺

So come along this Saturday, grab a drink, find a seat, and cheer on the Buddies with us.

VAT has been a major cause of many pubs & hospitality venues closing.

VAT being set at 20% along with ever increasing costs mean hard working owners/tenants are finding their margins squeezed beyond anything that is reasonable forcing the closure of many of you favourites no matter how busy they are.
