What a day, thank you everyone, we had a smashing time! 🥂🍾

AND THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 BOTTLE SMASHING MADNESS

What. A. Day.

Great weather, great turnout, great throwing, great craic — exactly the level of fruity chaos we expect every year.

Huge cheers for our 2026 Champions:
👑 Jess Millar — Ladies’ Champion, second thrower of the day, smashed 3 bottles nae bother.
👑 Steve Hardie — Men’s Champion, winning the final 4 man playoff and walking away with the highly coveted solid gold coloured trophy (aye, coloured… we’re not made of money).

We had a record breaking 135 contestants this year — absolute legends, every one of ye. Same again next year? Aye, too right.
And the best bit? Together we raised £540 for the brilliant Doctors Without Borders. Smashing bottles and doing good — that’s the Cairn o’ Mohr way.
Drop a wee 👍 for our champions — they’ve earned it.
