The Macmillan Coffee and Gift Shop is on the outskirts of Perth on the A85, postcode PH2 7HX
It has been run with the generous help of volunteers since 1991 and the Gannochy Trust kindly give use of the premises in the Quarrymill Woodland Park. All funds raised go to help cancer patients at the Cornhill Macmillan Cancer centre in the grounds of Perth Royal Infirmary. Quarrymill Woodland Park has a

network of paths to explore and work up an appetite for a delicious lunch or a slice of home baking before a browse in the gift shop which has a great range of cards and gifts.

Meet Mary
Mary has volunteered at Quarrymill for over 15 years now and you will find her there with a cheerful smile on Saturdays taking all your orders. She also joined the committee 10 years ago and does numerous jobs behind the scenes.
Her favourite cake with a cuppa is Carrot Cake

She will get up and dance if you play anything Motown
Her most hated household chore is cleaning bathrooms!

Linda has volunteered with us for 5 years now and you’ll find her behind the till on a Monday morning. She is also on the Gift Shop committee and if she has a quiet moment you will see her putting stock out or dusting the shelves.

As most of you know our coffee shop is run by an army of volunteers who help with so many things both behind the scenes and front of house. Keeping the gift shop stocked , making bunting , keeping our planters looking fresh, waiting tables, washing dishes, making sandwiches, manning the till, laundering tea towels, making cakes etc. And our volunteers mean that every penny of money we make does directly to Cornhill Macmillan Centre in Perth
We thought it’s time you met some of these volunteers so will be featuring them regularly from now.

From today Friday 15th May there will be roadworks on Isla Road from Kincarrathie Crescent to Quarrymill. There will be traffic lights and a convoy system in place while they carry out kerb repairs so expect delays. There will be access to the coffeeshop at all times apart from next Wednesday when there will be no access at all. The coffeeshop that day will offer a limited service to anyone who walks down from Scone!
