Well, obviously we all know that England are not going to be playing in the World Cup final and yes we all know that the 3rd 4th play off game is kind of pointless. BUT...........Is it though? It's still England playing at a world cup, it's still England v France, It's still an opportunity for Harry Kane or Jude Bellingham to win the golden boot. (optimistic maybe but not impossible!)

Above everything else, it's Saturday night, it's the last time you'll see England play at a World cup for at least 4 years so let's make the best of it!!!!

Cruz Campo will be just £4.95 for the duration of the match starting an hour before the match. So there's just one more reason to join us and cheer on England one more time!

Thanks to everyone that's made it such a memorable tournament, just this and the final left now.

We will of course be showing the 3rd 4th play off between England and France - 10pm Saturday evening and then the World cup Final between Argentina and Spain 8pm Sunday evening.

Here we go again then - Wednesday is England v Argentina in the World Cup Semi-Final! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽🇦🇷

Kick-off is at 8pm, so make sure you arrive early to grab a good table and settle in for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

So from 5pm, we’ll have the barbecue fired up, serving hot dogs, burgers, skewers, wings, vegetarian options and plenty more, with food available right through until 9pm — half-time in the football.

We’ll also have live music from 5pm until 7pm with Lee Clingan playing an excellent set of covers for us, finishing just as the build-up to the match begins.

Best of all, the entire event is completely free entry.

Come down, enjoy the food, soak up the atmosphere and cheer England on as they battle Argentina for a place in Sunday’s World Cup Final.

This Saturday, we’re bringing you a huge evening of live music and live World Cup action at The Windmill! 🎶⚽

The music begins outside at 5pm with Andy Hughes, followed by Teddy Newberry from 7pm–9pm. Our outdoor bar will be open throughout, so grab a drink, enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere before England take on Norway at 10pm in the World Cup quarter-final.

There’s no entry fee, so come down early, secure your table and settle in for a brilliant evening of live entertainment at The Windmill, Orton Waterville.

We’re ramping things up at The Windmill this weekend!

Join us on Saturday 11th July for a brilliant evening of live entertainment and World Cup drama.

Kicking things off at 7pm, we’re delighted to welcome back Teddy Newberry for what’s sure to be another fantastic live music set.

Then, it’s the big one… England v Norway in the World Cup Quarter Final, with kick off at 10pm. We’ll be showing the match live in our outdoor area, so stick around, grab a drink, and get behind England with us.

Both the live music and the World Cup screening are free entry.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming Tribal Misfits to The Windmill, Orton Waterville tomorrow evening (Saturday 4th July) for what promises to be a brilliant night of live music.

They’re an excellent rock covers band with a great sound, plenty of energy, and a set full of songs to get the room going. After some fantastic live music nights recently, we can’t wait to host another one and enjoy a proper Saturday night atmosphere here at The Windmill.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us at The Windmill yesterday for England v Congo in the World Cup.
We just about got there in the end! It was tense, it was nervy, but what a brilliant evening it turned into. The atmosphere was fantastic, everyone came together, and you all helped make it another memorable World Cup night at The Windmill.

Mexico next at 1am on Monday morning and then a potential clash with Brazil in the quarter final.

What a brilliant couple of Saturday nights we’ve had at The Windmill!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Mellow Submarine two weeks ago and Bottle O’ Rock last weekend — both bands were absolutely superb, and you all helped make the evenings so memorable.

This Saturday night, we’re keeping the live music going with In The Groove from 8pm.

Expect a fun-filled evening of Soul, Motown, Disco and Pop, packed with popular feel-good hits you’ll know and love. It promises to be another great night at The Windmill, Orton Waterville.
