🎨 Cliik Community's Art Club is a space for local creatives to gather, work, and connect. We meet 6 - 7.30pm every first and third Tuesday of the month at The Talk Shop.

Bring your own materials and work on whatever you like. Whether you're deep in a painting or starting a new craft, you can work alongside other arty neighbours, share ideas, or just enjoy a bit of chitchat while you create.

Script-in-Hand Theatre - “If I Had Known it was the Last Time…”

Working in collaboration with 'WE ARE NOT NUMBERS', a charitable organisation that supports and mentors young, aspiring writers in Gaza, Script-in-Hand Theatre has devised a new dramatic performance of stories and poems adapted from the website, focusing on the love, resilience, hope, and determination to rebuild without trying to hide the horrors of the genocide.

 ‘Love Stonehouse’ – An exhibition of 40 photographs where people share their love for the community where we live, Stonehouse. 

At the recent Union Street Party in September, we asked 40 people to write a simple word or message sharing some thing that they love or appreciate about the neighbourhood where we live and work. The answers speak for themselves – the diversity, creativity and community spirit of the people and local organisations makes Stonehouse the true heart of Plymouth. 

The exhibition of 40 portrait photographs taken by Arnet Donkin, highlights the diversity of our community, the importance of fostering a sense of ‘belonging’, a neighbourhood that has a thriving grassroots movement of energy and activism.

The Talk Shop has been a warm, welcoming space where people could pop in for a cuppa, a chat, a quiet moment, or simply some friendly company. ☕💬

From new faces to familiar ones, shared stories and gentle conversations, we’re so grateful to everyone who stepped through the door and helped make it what it is; a place to feel comfortable, included and at home. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered, listened and laughed with us. We can’t wait to open the doors again in January and continue creating space for connection. ✨
