Baked treats to enjoy sitting in with local coffee or to take away, gluten free, vegan options. We are situated opposite Evans Halshaw along the route to the cycle path to Saltram, Plympton, perfect to pick up a hot drink, pasty or cake to take away. You can make a treat box from our cabinet of bakes. There is allocated parking right outside & we have seating for you to take a break. We are on 'Just Eat' now also!

We will be open from Thursday this week, so yes we are closed tomorrow. This vertigo/BPPV is lingering and I needed another day. Orders are going out on Thursday, Fri and Saturday this week. We will have cakes in the chiller - possibly scaled down in quantity but still scrumptious 😉😋

Hope this works that you can see these images as it took longer than I hoped and more decision making than I expected for a Sunday morning 🤣 It's hard to choose highlights 📷

A customer chose a cake design that went out Friday that was one of the first I had ever done, and it made me think of the progress... I couldn't use a piping bag, didn't imagine the logistics and skills needed in cake making so I thought I would minus and plus 6 years before and now kind of post 💓

I know I have quotes to come back to, which will be later today/tomorrow, thank you ☺️

Friday and my work is done. We are closed tomorrow. Thank you for your support this week, your messages and well wishes/kind comments 💞
With all orders going out well and customers tweaking collection times to help, I am pleased to feel accomplished and, as always, it was all worth it that all bookings were upheld for special celebrations 🎂
My husband & daughter have been pretty amazing too, couldn't have done it without them 🫶🏻

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of creating a celebration cake and bakes for a special 85th birthday. So much thought was put into organising this customers mum's birthday. I like it when a customer spots a design/ bakes that we have done and makes it their own. We love being part of your occasions 💞

So what should of took 4 hours took 8, and what I should have been able to do as 1 took 3 🫣
However orders are on track and will be met without letting anyone down 🥰
It's the hardest part about the job, not having anyone to step in my shoes so you can stay in bed!
I know some may say it's only cake and customers will understand but will they really? And if I can avoid cancelling, and safe to carry on I absolutely will do my best. The shop will be closed all week unfortunately. Thank you for your kind messages and to Alyssia at Cakes for Occasions for being on hand to help if I had struggled today, I would have been able to pass customers her way if I had needed to and trust she would have done a beautiful job 😘
Roll on next wk when my head may stop spinning 😵‍💫
