That’s a wrap!!

Our last day today as we close for a Christmas break! Just the three of us left for the final Christmassy shift of the year! We even got lou to dust off the work boots and have some fun!

We would like to thank all of our lovely customers because without you we wouldn’t be where we are today!

St Leonard’s Church are hosting a Christmas tree competition for anyone to go and vote this weekend! 12-4 Today! There are so many amazing trees! We put a Clarkes Butty Bar tree in the mix! Mum absolutely smashed it with decorating it! Mini food relating to what we do, to decorate the whole tree 🥰

Have your say – proposed car parking changes 📣

A public consultation has launched on proposed changes to car parking in the borough. The consultation will close on 9 December 2025.

These proposed changes are part of our efforts to improve parking across the borough as well as making it fairer and more efficient.

Adding an affordable charge to our car parks (along with free parking for the initial period of one to three hours, dependant on which car park) allows us to make sure we can continue to look after our car parks, do necessary improvements and ensure they can be fit for the future.

The proposed variation order would designate the following car parks as off-street long stay Pay and Display car parks operating 7 days a week.

New charges added with first hour free:
- Kingsway Car Park, Bamber Bridge
- Liverpool Road Car Park, Penwortham
- Ryefield Avenue Car Park, Penwortham
- Churchill Way Car Park, Leyland
- Bowling Terrace Car Park, Leyland
- Victoria Road Car Park, Walton-le-Dale
- Cann Bridge Street Car Park, Higher Walton

New charges added with two hours free:
- Leyland Leisure Centre, Lancastergate, Leyland:

New charges added with three hours free:
- Bamber Bridge Leisure Centre, Brindle Road
- Withy Grove Car Park, Bamber Bridge

Subject to consultation, these changes are due to come into effect on 25 March 2026.

THIS AFTERNOON…Hannah has a car seat that looks like this one but is black! It was left behind her car on the back car park behind Clarke’s for a very short period of time and has disappeared! We are waiting to get clear CCTV in the next couple of hours but if you know anything please drop us a message!
