Then & Now 📸
This original photograph was taken in the late 1800s and shows James Shorrock and his family outside the Boars Head Inn. James was landlord here from 1877 to 1897, making this a special snapshot of the pub’s long history.
More than a century later, we’ve recreated that very same photograph with our own family, standing in exactly the same place.
It’s a privilege to own such a historic pub, and we’re proud to be a small part of its long history.
What a difference a century makes. ❤️🍻
