LONG WINDED POST ALERT π *please read* π°π°π°
See the picture? Well that is me with my Papa. This time last year we had the devastating news that he had cancer. It was a truly awful time for myself & my family as we didn't know what to expect. When something like this happens to someone close to you, you re-evaluate your life and realise whats really important.
For almost 10 years we have had our own business and when we opened Hutch 2 & half years ago our work load doubled meaning some times we would be up at 5am & returning at 12am. Its tough but thats business. Hence the reason we wanted to change the concept of what we do in order to free up some more time for things not work related. Im not very good at not being the one in charge π but thought its the right time to hand the kitchen over to a member of staff.
Unfortunately we have hit many a brick wall in trying to achieve what we set to do through different entities regarding extraction/policies/planning etc. We have spent a small fortune & got everything ready to basically open! There goes that holiday πNot many people know but i do suffer from anxiety... I don't make a point of telling people (as most people that suffer don't) but the whole process has made it worse & subsequently had a negative effect on my health.
With this we have took the decision to revert back to a single business By no means has this been an easy decision for us. Back when we opened we were excited about the food concept we came up with. Since then other establishments have followed suit which invariably results in a saturation of the types of places to visit.... another reason we wanted to alter. Our aim has always been to offer something a bit more unique from the norm. Im a firm believer that a business will flourish from an individuals own creativity. We will continue to do this at Happy Bunnies & still provide events & theme nights so we hope our trustomers (trusty customers) will continue to support us.
Sure working a lot gets you nice things & going to fancy places but you miss out on life & being happy. Just like to say this is a personal one not a reflection of financial preformance of Hutch. We hope you understand and would like to thank everyone who has supported us π°π°π°
