🤎 ONE YEAR OF THE PLOUGH, FRECKLETON! 🤎
One year ago today, we picked up the keys to The Plough, and what an incredible journey this first year has been! 🥹❤️
Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much we’ve achieved in just 12 months. The hard work, the long days, the sleepless nights, the challenges, the laughter and, most importantly, the amazing memories we’ve made along the way.
But before anything else, we want to take a moment to thank two very special people who have made this journey possible. ❤️
Zoe & Tony.
Two names that so many people around Freckleton and the surrounding villages will know very well!
Having spent so many years running pubs in the area, building friendships, welcoming generations of families and becoming such familiar faces in our local communities, they have shown us what running a proper family pub is all about.
But to us, they are so much more than that. They are our family, our biggest supporters and the people who have believed in us from the very beginning.
Without their years of experience, endless advice, encouragement and support, we honestly wouldn’t be where we are today.
They’ve been there through every decision, every challenge, every worry and every little achievement. Always at the end of the phone, always ready to lend a hand and always pushing us to do our very best.
We feel incredibly lucky to be following in their footsteps, learning from everything they’ve built over the years.
And we hope that one day, we can make them just as proud of us as we are of them. ❤️
What a year it has been at The Plough!
From the moment we got those keys, we knew we wanted to make this pub something special.
We’ve already completed our first refurbishment, worked incredibly hard to improve every little detail, welcomed so many wonderful customers and created memories that will stay with us forever.
And now, just one year later, we’re preparing for our SECOND and biggest refurbishment yet! 🥹
Yes, another one already!
But that’s because we truly believe The Plough deserves the very best, and so does the wonderful community of Freckleton.
We’re not doing this just to have a successful business. We’re doing it because we genuinely love what we do.
We want The Plough to be somewhere people are proud to call their local. Somewhere families come together for Sunday lunch, friends meet for a pint, birthdays are celebrated, memories are made and everyone feels welcome.
A proper family pub, with a proper family behind it. 🤎
We know we haven’t got everything right along the way. We’re still young, still learning and still growing, but every single day we put our hearts into making this place better.
And we promise that will never change.
To our amazing staff, past and present, thank you for being part of this journey. Your hard work and dedication mean more than you know.
And to our wonderful customers and the people of Freckleton…

Thank you for supporting us, for giving us a chance, for coming back week after week, for your lovely comments, your patience during the changes and for making us feel so welcome in this amazing village.
You are the reason we keep pushing ourselves to do more.
We might be the ones holding the keys, but it’s all of you who make The Plough what it is.
And this is only the beginning!
🎉 SATURDAY 7TH NOVEMBER — OUR 1ST ANNIVERSARY PARTY! 🎉
We couldn’t let this milestone pass without celebrating with the people who have made it so special.
And we’re doing it in style with the incredible THE DEAD BEATS, LIVE FROM 9PM! 🎶
We would absolutely love to see as many of you there as possible, raising a glass and celebrating our first year together.
One year ago, we got the keys to The Plough. Today, we feel like we’ve become part of a community and built an extended family.
Here’s to the next chapter, our exciting new refurbishment and hopefully many more years of memories at The Plough.
