The Sportsman is a vibrant local pub in the heart of the South Downs, with an unrivalled view over the Amberley Wildbrooks. Perfect for nature lovers, birdwatchers, walkers and cyclists. We have five en-suite B&B rooms with views over the Wildbrooks or the South Downs

. We serve a variety of locally produced real ales and pride ourselves on the quality of how we store and serve them. Food available Mon-Sat 12-2.30pm and 6-8pm and Sunday 12-3pm. Hi Facebook friends. Unfortunately our Open Mic night has been postponed this evening. Why not head down for dinner anyway and sample our fish cake special starter served with samphire frites, burnt lemon sauce (mains with poached eggs) paired with a local Sussex reserve (or Silly Moo 😎) followed by local elderflower posset with strawberries! Who can resist!

This Thursday night at The Sportsman Inn our monthly Open Mic Live Music Night returns for any aspiring musicians to come on down and take a turn playing any tunes they want to perform. Looking forward to another great night at this wonderful village Inn.
