☀️ After chatting things through with the team, we’ve decided to stay open as normal during the heatwave. Rest assured, everyone’s safety and wellbeing comes first, and we’ll be making sure the team stay cool, hydrated and well looked after. 💧❤️

To make things a little easier while schools are closed, we’re running Kids Eat for £1 today and tomorrow with every full-paying adult main meal!

☀️ A little update from us at The Miners Rest ☀️

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we unfortunately need to close our kitchen during the daytime tomorrow.

The bar will still be open from 9am, so pop in, escape the heat, hydrate with a cold drink and share a smile with the team!

⚽ The kitchen will reopen from 5pm - 9pm, in time for your football fix before England vs Ghana!

We’re also keeping a close eye on the temperatures and will confirm our daytime kitchen opening arrangements for Wednesday and Thursday as soon as possible. We are absolutely blown away by the support you showed us yesterday ❤️

We’ve served well over 100 guests with just two chefs in the kitchen and our incredible Front of House team, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved. Thank you to every single person who chose to spend Father’s Day with us – it genuinely means the world!

But we’re not slowing down…

⚽ England are back in action this week, and so is our Match Day Burger!

This time, we’re going one better – our kitchen will be open ALL DAY on Tuesday from 7:30am–9pm, giving you plenty of time to grab a bite before kick-off.
