Recently, Sarah, Tom and Divan had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Colonna Roastery in Bristol.

It was a brilliant chance for Divan to expand his knowledge of the journey from ‘bean to cup’ and spend time with owner and champion barista, Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood.

Maxwell’s passion for speciality coffee takes him all over the world, working with coffee experts and is truly infectious. His demand for the highest quality coffee is something you can genuinely see and taste in every cup.

Now that the dust has settled, we have been looking back over the events from this year's incredible Wargrave Festival! The sunshine certainly added to the atmosphere, even if it was a little warmer than we'd have liked at times.

One of our highlights was taking part in the Enchanted Wine Bluffer's Tale, where Sarah and Sara B joined the panel. We can safely say that a very merry time was had by all!

A huge thank you to Bee Burke for organising such a fantastic event, and congratulations to everyone involved in making this year's Festival such a success.

What our lovely customers are saying...

“What a wonderful little find. My son and I had a hankering for a good slice of cake. A quick Google put H'ARTISAN on our radar.

We were lucky to nab one of the free parking spots outside and were delighted with what we found inside. Beautifully decorated, not overcrowded tables, outside area beautifully planted, a real oasis.

The cake did not disappoint, and we were spoilt for choice. Staff were friendly and attentive. The savoury offer looked delicious too. We'll be back for a sausage roll one day soon.

Coffee was also delicious and well presented.”

Here are a couple of ways we have been helping out recently:

Charity Event for Armed Forces Day
Local business, SmartCT, is hosting a charity event this Thursday for Armed Forces Day in aid of the Royal British Legion. Many of their team are ex-military, and the event aims to support service personnel in their transition into civilian life, while also recognising the incredible work of our armed forces around the world.

We’re pleased to be donating H’ARTISAN vouchers for their raffle and wish them every success with their fundraising efforts.

AFC Charvil
We were touched to receive some lovely feedback from AFC Charvil, who recently held their end-of-season Awards Day:

“A huge thank you for donating the coffee and cake for 2 to our end-of-season Awards Day raffle last Saturday.

We had over 300 families join us on the day and managed to raise almost £4,000 for the club. This is an incredible result that genuinely makes a difference to what we can offer our kids. The raffle was a real highlight, and the winner of your prize was absolutely delighted. They told me they'd walked past H'ARTISAN countless times and this was finally the nudge they needed to go in!”
