The anti-skid overshoes EsyShoes meets a very strict specifications defined in collaboration with an independent and authorized European laboratory : Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Topeliuksenkatu 41 a A, FI-00250 Helsinki, Finland

Several points were tested :

- Slip resistance on ice

- Tensile strength in cold

- Corrosion resistance of the metal parts (no corrosion detected)

- Practical performance (the putting on, the taking off and the mantaining during use were considered as very practical)



The product and the technical documentation relating to it complies with the relevant basic health and safety requirements stated in the Directive 89/686/EEC. Based on those elements, EzyShoes has obtained the CE certification.

Horrible! Just had a 2 mile walk through the streets; its going to be horrible tomorrow morning. There should be a word (there is probably an Inuit one) for snow that gets compressed then starts to melt and freezes. You know the stuff, it appears shiny and blue and is real hard, not to mention slippery.
And then there is black ice, which around us is being cause by the slow melt of heaped snow causing a thin coating of water across the roads and pavements which is freezing.
Glad to report my Ezyshoes were great, while those around me slid and slipped, or took their life into their hands by walking on those parts of the road free from ice I walked along the ice with vet little increase in effort.

Having mentioned a number of times on here that its going to snow and it did not, I have been quiet and its snowed. So all I can say is it will not snow Friday..........but if I were you I would order some ezyshoe icegrippers right away.
