We’re just one game away from the World Cup Final, and tomorrow night promises to be another unforgettable evening at The New Inn, Park Bottom as England take on Argentina! 🦁

📺 Shown LIVE throughout the pub

We’re pulling out all the stops for this one…

🎧 Martyn from Solly’s Discos will be with us from 6:30PM, getting the atmosphere going with all the pre-match music, football anthems and entertainment before the big game!

🍽️ Our full main menu will be served from 5:30PM, so why not make an evening of it and join us for dinner before kick-off?

⚠️ Please note: All tables are strictly first come, first served — no reservations will be taken, so we recommend getting down early to grab your spot!

With huge screens, cold pints and what promises to be an electric atmosphere, there’s only one place to watch the Semi Final!

❤️🍻 What a day yesterday was at The New Inn. 🍻❤️

From the lads heading off to Holywell Bay for the annual Johnny Webster Memorial Golf Day, to celebrating a special Baby Shower, enjoying some incredible food from The Little Greek Grill, and, of course, the result we all wanted on the pitch, it was fantastic to see so many of you enjoying yourselves together.

Firstly, thank you to the vast majority of our customers. Your support means everything to us. Events like yesterday don’t just happen; they take a huge amount of planning, organisation and, at times, an entire community pulling together at short notice.

Unfortunately, as is often the case, a small minority chose to show very little respect for our home.

The New Inn is exactly that… our home. We work incredibly hard to create a welcoming, family-friendly venue for everyone to enjoy, but bringing your own drinks into the pub or ordering outside food to be delivered without asking is simply unacceptable. If you choose to do this, you will be asked to leave.

We are proud to be a family venue, but we are not a crèche. We love seeing families create special memories here, but parents and guardians remain responsible for their children and any damage caused to the pub or its property.

We also operate a strict Challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, you will be asked for ID.

No ID means no entry and no service.

Sadly, last week we found ourselves asking an underage guest to leave, only to discover that the people she had arrived with intended to stay and leave her without a way home. Not only is this unfair on the young person involved, but it should never become the responsibility of pub team to resolve situations that should have been considered before arriving.

Hospitality is facing enough challenges as it is, but we remain committed to doing things properly… creating fantastic events, maintaining a safe and legal environment, and ensuring The New Inn continues to thrive for years to come.

To the overwhelming majority of our customers: thank you.

The countdown is on and we’re all set for what promises to be an incredible night here at The New Inn, Park Bottom!

🇬🇷 The team from Alex Piperithis are in position and getting ready to fire up later on, serving their fantastic traditional Greek food throughout the evening! 🌯🥔

🎧 From 8PM, Martyn from Martyn will be taking over with all the pre-match tunes, football anthems and entertainment to get everyone in the mood for the big game!

And then, the moment we’ve all been waiting for…

⛳🍻 The Lads Are Off to Holywell Bay! 🍻⛳

Bright and early this morning, the boys have gathered at The New Inn before heading off to Holywell Bay for the annual Johnny Webster Memorial Golf Day.

After being fuelled with a hearty breakfast and, of course, suitably watered with a few beers, they’re now on their way for a fantastic day of golf, laughs and memories in honour of Johnny. ❤️

Days like today are what it’s all about… good friends, questionable golf swings, plenty of stories and taking a moment to remember someone who meant so much to so many.

We hope everyone has an incredible day on the course, manages to keep a few balls out of the rough and raises a glass to Johnny along the way. 🍺🏌️‍♂️

⚠️ A Message From Me...

Over the past few months, many of you will have noticed we've had our fair share of challenges here at The New Inn.

Some have been completely out of our control...
Some have tested us more than we'd ever imagined...
And, if we're honest, there have been days where we've questioned what comes next.

Hospitality isn't an easy industry.

Behind every pint poured, every meal served and every smile at the bar is a huge amount of work that most people never see.

Tomorrow evening, I'll be posting a video explaining exactly what's been happening and where we are heading ......
