Meet Kip! 🐱 Although he lives next door, he loves popping into Cosy Stove Coffee House to say hello to our customers—especially if there's a little sausage or ham on offer for breakfast! ❤️

Kip is incredibly friendly and always enjoys a fuss and a gentle stroke.

As we're a pet-friendly café, we love welcoming all kinds of furry friends. 🐶🐱 However, we understand that not all dogs are comfortable around cats. If you'd prefer Kip to keep his distance during your visit, just let one of our team know at the counter and we'll happily encourage him back next door.

The Cosy Stove Coffee House is looking for a Cafe Chef to join our friendly, family-run team.

We're looking for someone who can work independently and confidently manage the kitchen, preparing and serving fresh, homemade food to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and able to thrive during busy service periods while maintaining excellent food hygiene and presentation.

📅 Wednesday – Sunday
🌙 No evening shifts
🏡 One full weekend off each month or two separate weekend days off
💷 Competitive pay, based on experience

What we're looking for:

🍳 Experience preparing breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes
👨‍🍳 Ability to work independently and take ownership of the kitchen
🧼 Strong food hygiene and health & safety knowledge
📦 Experience with stock control and minimising waste
⏰ Reliable, punctual and well-organised
😊 Friendly, positive attitude and team spirit

We've got you covered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner today!

🍽️ Our full menu is available until 2:30pm, followed by coffee, cake, and treats until 7:30pm – eat in or takeaway.

🍕 Skinny Guys Pizza will be with us from 5pm–8pm serving their delicious homemade pizzas, perfect for dinner!
