Less than a fortnight to go!!!

One of the highlights of our summer calendar is getting closer!
Ale on the Rails returns this July, combining heritage rail travel, real ale, live entertainment and all that Swanwick Junction has to offer.

Whether you're a railway enthusiast, a real ale lover, or simply looking for a great day out, there will be something for everyone.

A huge Thank You to UK Railtours for having us onboard yesterday. It was by far the best train trip we have been part of, having the buffet coach all to ourselves made it very special for us.
We can’t wait for the next one.
Cheers to everyone who came and bought beer from us, you smashed through 320 pints in no time at all. The first beer was served just before 9am as well.

The one thing we didn’t get chance to do yesterday was take any pictures, mainly because you kept us so busy.
So if you took any pictures could you please put them in the comments below? That would be much appreciated.

Tomorrow we are on board UK Railtours Independence Day Charter from Kings Cross to Doncaster via the rest of the UK.
Various freight yards and freight engines will be the order of the day I suspect.
Although we are hoping a nice cask beer will be the second order of the day.

For anyone on tomorrow’s trip we have 8 lovely beers for you. We hope to have 4 on at a time and replace beers as they run out.

Cash and Card is payments are accepted as well.
We will be getting on at Potters Bar and aim to be serving from Peterborough.
