Happy Halloween!

It’s been fantastic to see so many creatively carved pumpkins popping up all over town, bringing a wonderful touch of Halloween magic to shop windows throughout Ripon.

Well done from all of us at Realitea — to everyone who has put so much time, effort and imagination into making the city feel extra special this spooky season.

We’d particularly like to recognise Kate and the team at theportlypig.ripon for their wonderful window display. The thought, creativity and attention to detail certainly deserves a special mention.

It’s lovely to see the city embracing the spirit of the season, bringing smiles to passers-by and helping make Ripon such a vibrant and welcoming place.

Happy Friday ☺️

Welcome to our unofficial gluten-free day.

While not absolutely everything is gluten-free, we certainly have way more GF cakes on offer than usual—including this tempting slice of marigold cake. (It’s bound to go quickly though - someone has already noticed it through the window!!!)

Of course, many of our savoury dishes are naturally gluten-free as well. Happy days we say!

Hope to see you soon.

Perhaps you have a special occasion coming up . . .

Then why not let us help to bring a little extra ‘wow’ to your celebration.

Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, family gathering or another special event, we can mark the occasion with a special cake to make the day more memorable.

Just pop along and have a chat with us about what you have in mind — and it’s not just cakes. We can also offer a delicious selection of special savoury snacks to add something extra to your get-together.

Come and have a chat — we’d love to be part of your special day. 😊

With Diwali coming up early next month, we thought we’d spread a little happiness by giving you the chance to enjoy an Indian brunch for two, on us, here at Realitea.

Fancy winning a brunch date with that someone special? Then simply comment below and tell us who you’d bring along to enjoy brunch with you at Realitea, and why you’d choose them. Oh — and don’t forget to share this post as well.

You have until Diwali (8th November) to enter, and we’ll announce the lucky winner shortly afterwards.

Good luck everyone!

We can’t wait to hear who you’d bring along 😊

A warm welcome to our new neighbours, Sprout & Crumb!

We’re delighted to welcome this lovely new addition to our local community — a lunchtime deli serving up fresh, healthy salads and tasty options to brighten up your lunch break.

Why not pop in, say hello and explore what they have to offer? Remember shopping totally locally really is the way to go.

We encourage everyone to keep supporting all our wonderful independent businesses. Help Ripon be vibrant, and our high street to thrive.

From all of us at Realitea, we wish Sprout & Crumb every success in their new venture 😊👍.

We’re honoured to have been invited to cater for a huge wedding for a delightful couple in York next month . . . .

This means we need to spend a couple of days beavering away, making, baking and prepping the wedding feast to make sure all goes well! The tea room will therefore be closed for a couple of days on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers for understanding. Until then we’re here with a warm welcome and friendly smile ready with all your favourites !
