Legends, the voting has opened on stories for Score and Pour and tonight’s World Cup Opener - you have until 3pm to vote for tonight’s team. Then we’ll put the vote up for tomorrow.

During the game, if the poll winner (the winning team) takes the lead, and during the lead, half price drinks are ON!

Not only has voting started, Mike has also started rocking in a corner whispering something about the Lord giving him strength, we’ve left him there, he’ll be ‘reet! 🤣

Roll up for… THE BIGGEST EVENT AT ON THE RIVER YET!

Live stand up comedy, entry from 5pm and the show begins at 5.30pm - it’s an early sesh because the World Cup Opener begins at 8pm, and you’ll have a chance of a half price drink during the game, more details to follow.

For the belly laughs, we’ve got FIVE comedians, headlined by , supported by and it’s hosted by .tommo - luckily for you, has already provided the comedy this year with keepy uppies, so won’t be on the stage.

Best bit - it’s FREE (or pay what you can!) and grab a pint/drink of choice!

Don’t even try telling us there’s a better night to be had elsewhere, get down to On The River and get laughing! 🌊

Whilst we hope you won’t need the woolies and our roof will be open, we’ve got the Summer International Rugby Campaign coming up, here are the key dates:

Saturday 27th June - Wales v Barbarians - 2pm
Saturday 4th July - Wales v Fiji - 2.10pm
Saturday 11th July - Argentina vs Wales - 8.10pm
Saturday 18th July - South Africa vs Wales - 4.40pm

Although these are the Wales games, we will show the rugby all day during opening hours, so you can settle in watching whatever you want and grab food in between - some would call it a Mikey Rayer! 😂
