Your weekly reminder that all cask ales are £4 a pint today!

When you pop in, take a look at our latest b**ry artwork, framed pump clips but not just any pump clips. These are the b**rs that our staff have brewed at the Brunswick Brewery in Derby. This is all part of their training to ensure they understand what makes a perfect pint of cask ale from grain to glass! We take looking after our b**r (and staff) very seriously!

If you are interested in having your own pump clip art, then Steve's contact details are on the wall so give him a call.

Well, how did that happen? One minute we are complaining that it's too hot, the next it's November and we are panicking about the big event thingy next month!!

We have a fabulous first week of November coming up...

Rugby Nations Championship returns this Friday - North Vs South with Ireland vs Argentina kicking things off at 20:10 and England vs Australia on Sunday at 15:10. Watch every weekend throughout November.

Pie & Pint as always on Wednesday and still plenty of time to take advantage of our dine 4 times, eat free in January offer.

And Sunday is Remembrance Sunday and we'll be open at 11.30 am with a warming chicken & veg stew or veggie stew available. Minimum donation of £5 per person, all going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

What a great afternoon. They came for the Scotch egg class and came back for the pork pie class as a birthday present for Steve. Good fun. I for one enjoyed teaching them.

Yes. I'm a bit late but here is last weeks scotch egg making class. Landlord forgot to do the post. Its an age thing. All lads who really enjoyed the class as much as I did teaching them.
