Let's make an espresso with (almost) everything from .
I went for a slightly bigger dose at 19g, as I love I juicy Kenyan. My grind size was 6 on the grinder. I aimed for 45g out, with a medium length preinfusion for this machine. The brew time was about 28s with the preinfusion.
The coffee was rich, sweet, with vanilla, blackcurrant, and toffee notes. I prefer it on espresso as opposed to filter but it's still great in the batch brewer at work.
The coffee is from . I picked it up from . They have had some fun roasteries lately.
I really focus on my puck prep. Obviously I'm only using cheap tools, but I still want to get the best results I can. You can make good coffee with a basic set up if you're fundamentals are strong. It's a big learning process.
Thanks for watching. The machine costs £200 and I got the bottomless baskets and handle for £40. The grinder was £100. The grinder and machine are from .
