With the sun sticking around and the coast on the doorstep, here’s where to gallivant this fortnight. ☀️ Swipe through for some inspiration!

Great Dixter — Christopher Lloyd’s celebrated garden in East Sussex — is open for the season. Wildly planted, deeply influential, and quite unlike anywhere else.🌸

Visit the Battle Abbey, the site of the 1066 Battle of Hastings. You can explore its ruins then climb to the gatehouse rooftop for panoramic views. It’s only 30 mins by car from the Gallivant.✨

Staying at the Gallivant is a bit like staying at your best friend’s house by the sea - useful things on hand to make most of everything around you - from a pair of binocs to a 50’s style ‘deck’ chair to take to the beach, or raincoats and wellies in all colours and sizes for the rainier days - we’ve thought of it so you don’t need to - just arrive and let us take care of everything ✨
