Good morning everyone !! It’s a bit cooler today (at the moment!)

Today we have:

Ful, crushed chickpeas served with pita,

Our kofta pitas with a walnut salad,

Three dips and pita,

Our Mandi salsa sandwiches and our regular sandwiches!

We do not have our Dahl on today as there has been a lentil shortage at the ck !!!

The first Copper Kettle book club will be… 14th July!!! From 6pm!! We will provide tea and coffee, welcome to bring wine if you fancy (we have glasses!!)

The general consensus is that people would like it to be a book sharing and swapping idea, come with your favourite book you’ve read recently, explain a bit about it and then we can swap and read for the next month etc !!

Let me know who would like to be in and I’ll work out seating etc!!

We are closed today!!! HOWEVER… we will be doing a takeaway hour from our back door… between 12-13:30 come and get a kofta pita and a Basbousa for £10!

We will be properly back open tomorrow from 7:30!!!

Good morning st just !!! What a beauty of a day !!! We will be open today 7:30-16:30!!

Today on the menu we have:

Dahl served with sourdough,

Homemade beef kofta/falafel stuffed pita served with a walnut salad,

Ful madammas served with khobez (Egyptian pita),

Ful, muhamarra and hummus served with khobez!

Basbousa served with a homemade raspberry coulis and a coconut crème fraiche!

Along side our Mandi salsa sandwiches today!

These will be ready from around 11ish!!

Tomorrow we will have some specials!

-ful mudammas served with khobez. Yaya describes this as the gift of life (I prefer sticky toffee pud as my gift of life but each to their own)… a smashed chickpea dip with spices and olive oil! It really is delicious !

-falafel or kofta meatball wrap served with a walnut salad

-roasted veg salad bowl with a spicy tahini salad dressing !

-Basbousa (my absolute favourite, on a par with sticky toffee) coconut and semolina cake served with raspberry coulis and crème fraiche !!

We are open! Today I’ll be busy prepping in the kitchen for our first evening back after two weeks off ! We have one table left available tonight if anyone wants a last minute dinner !!

We are OPEN until 15:30 today! Serving our usual menu including the goulash and dhal bowls !!!

Gearing up for our first evening back tomorrow and with a new menu! Lots of prep going on… I feel like I’ve spent at least 72 hours of my life cutting parsley 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Friday deal!!! Get goulash and a Basbousa for £14.50 today to kick start the weekend !!!

And we are fully booked for this Saturday evening ! Again! Thank you !! Just to let you know that until further notice it will be BOYB, however, we will still be serving teas, coffees, soft drinks, mocktails and Egyptian drinks!
