📣 Hastings indie-pop legend, DJ JONNY MORRIS will play with INSPIRAL CARPETS and THE WOOLVERSTONES on 23rd July. ONLY A HANDFUL OF TICKETS LEFT!

🎟 On sale now via The Piper web site!

☀ When God created Madchester, he gave the INSPIRALS all the best tunes. Combining the swoop and swirl of Farfisa organ with the sweetest melodies and a kick of swagger, the Inspiral Carpets were a key part of the late 1980s and early 1990s Manchester indie scene.

🍂 Singles including 'This is How It Feels', 'Saturn 5' and 'She Comes In The Fall' captured the fizz and restlessness of working class life in the city, and the band helped shape the identity of modern British indie music. We are beyond thrilled that they are making their Piper debut.

Formed in late 2019, alternative folk duo THE WOOLVERSTONES, are carving out a name for themselves on the international folk circuit. Their debut single, "A Song for Harlequins"—hailed as a "Folk Masterpiece" by Laurel Canyon Radio—received airplay across the UK, North America, and beyond, drawing praise from legends including The Byrds and members of Woodstock icons Country Joe and the Fish. They captivate audiences with their cinematic songwriting and harmony-rich sound.

📣 HEY COLOSSUS + guests. Sunday 6th December. 6.30pm - 10pm.

🎟 Tickets on sale Thursday 2 July at 10am

🪨 HEY COLOSSUS are now 15 albums deep, and have never felt more alive. Forever changing. Always pushing forward. Merging the repetition of Oneida and The Fall with touches of Gang Of Four / Lungfish / Sabbath.

⚡Their latest album, Heaven Was Wild, was born from one simple idea: be a band. Recorded live in the room over five days, with no click tracks and no polishing away the rough edges, it's a record full of huge riffs, tangled guitars, swagger, melody and the messy exhilaration of six people making a glorious racket together.

🔊Now joined by new frontman Thomas House (Sweet Williams, Charlottefield, AAA Gripper), this tour marks the next evolution of one of the UK's most vital, unpredictable and uncompromising bands.

🫦 The Rezillos are a punk/new wave band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1976. Their independent debut single, ‘I Can’t Stand My Baby’ shot them to underground fame, thanks to airings on the radio show of BBC Radio 1’s John Peel.

🚀 Their follow up classic singles ‘My Baby Does Good Sculptures’, ‘Top of the Pops’ and ‘Destination Venus’ signalled critically acclaimed milestones for the band.

🪲 The Rezillos recorded their landmark album ‘Can’t Stand the Rezillos’ in New York’s fabled Power Station studio, immersed themselves in the local music scene and dropped in during downtime to play a gig at CBGB’s, the hub of punk rock. The album reached the top 10 in the UK album chart and is lauded as a punk classic.
