Hi lovely customers 😊

As many of you know, I was thinking of closing the Tea Shop in September, sadly this has been brought forward and I have made the sad decision not to reopen the Tea Shop.

Georgia has badly sprained her ankle and is out of action for a few weeks, and my hand is still a bit useless, but working hard to get it mobile again!! What are the pair of us like?!!! 😂

We made it to ten years and I’m so proud of what we have achieved. We have met so many wonderful and lovely people and made lots of friends. Everyone has been so supportive and encouraging and loyal, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for enabling me to achieve my childhood dream of owning my own tea shop.

Although we actually opened on 21st May, today is our official 10th Birthday!! (My Dad’s Birthday, so I’d never forget when the shop opened ❤️)

Unfortunately, we’re not at the shop to celebrate 😞

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all our wonderful customers who have supported us throughout all these years xx

We do hope to reopen again soon 🫰🏻 Back at the hospital on Friday, so we’ll just see.

Just wanted to give a quick update on how things are going with my hand.

I’ve been back to the hospital today and as well as breaking some fingers, I also have a fractured my hand (no wonder it all hurt so much!!!)

There’s a chance I may have to have surgery to straighten one of my fingers, and if I could cross them I would, in the hope that I won’t need it!! 😊

Sadly, the shop will remain closed for now. For any existing bookings, I will be in touch nearer the booking time to let you know what’s happening.

Unfortunately some broken fingers means we’ll be shut for a few days 😬🫣

We’re still honouring any bookings already made today, but otherwise we’ll be closed.

Today we have a new flavour of cake in our homemade cake selection……Chocolate and Mint!!

Chocolate sponge cake filled with Cadbury chocolate spread and mint buttercream, topped with chocolate mint biscuits!! 😋😋😋

We have welcomed well behaved doggies into the Tea Shop for a long time, but we now have an official poster saying so! 🐾

🌼We will be open on Mother’s Day, Sunday 15th March at 12pm offering our Homemade Afternoon Teas 🌼

The cost will be £25 per person. We will require a £5 per head deposit please, at the time of booking.

The contents will be:

🌸 Sandwiches
- Roast Beef
- Poached Salmon & Cream Cheese
- Egg Mayonnaise
- Cheddar Cheese & Chutney

🌸 Sausage Roll

🌸 Lemon Mousse

🌸 Strawberry Tart

🌸 Chocolate Rocky Road

🌸 Victoria Sponge Cake

🌸 Scone, Preserve and Whipped Cream

🌸 Unlimited Tea or Americano Coffee (other drinks will be charged separately)

🌸 Additional Treats

We will also be offering our children’s Afternoon Tea at £12.95 each.
