RESTAURANT TO GOOD HANDS

We are moving towards new adventure and our fully equipped restaurant is available and waiting for new owners.

The Whale Tale is located on the west coast of Scottish Highlands in a small village Scourie, part of the famous NC500 route. The restaurant is being rented in Scourie Lodge, historic building build by Duke of Sutherland in 1835.
The plot of Scourie Lodge has a small forest and splendid walled garden which provides organic fruit and veg, partly used in the restaurant. Angus and Elisabeth, owners of the Lodge, run a fine bed and breakfast therefore the two businesses work closely together with love and respect.
The Whale Tale is a seasonal restaurant which has been running since 2017 and has a great potential in good hands. For three years we ran it as a café & restaurant, last year we decided to focus on dinner only as we wanted to step up with the food quality.
However, the space in as excellent opportunity to do whatever you love doing and it is not limited just to gastronomy. It can be used as a gallery, art studio, workshop...

We are looking for adventurous, open minded, hardworking and kind people who have passion, respect all living beings and consider environmental impact of business.

Look at this beautiful picture Angus took today! Angus and Elisabeth, owners of The Scourie Lodge and Gardens, are working every day in the garden and surroundings to make it as beautiful as it is. We are very lucky to have such a great source of fresh and organic ingredients for our kitchen. ❤🏞🥬🌱🌿
