Here at The Steamer Inn we pride ourselves on the freshest food, a great selection of beers and wine and of course a warm and friendly welcome. The Steamer Inn is open daily from 10am serving breakfast until 12noon. Our main menu is available from noon every day with last orders at 8:30pm, and roast

Where better than The Steamer Inn to enjoy the best beach in the South of England? Come down today and enjoy our panoramic views, just a few yards from the shoreline.

Shanklin has today been recognised as the best beach in the South of England by The Times & Sunday Times Top 50 UK Beaches guide 2026.

Travel writer Chris Haslam commented: "Shanklin still has the magic, with striped deckchairs on the sands, guesthouses on the prom and a footpath up the forested Shanklin Chine to the Old Village: described by the poet William Longfellow in 1868 as 'one of the quaintest and loveliest places in the kingdom'. Here at The Steamer Inn we are looking for seasonal front of house team members with availability until end of October.
Ideal candidates would have previous experience in a fast paced hospitality environment. Working a mixture of shifts including evenings and weekends.
