ith plenty to choose from, including countryside ciders, cask ales, prosecco and carefully selected wines. Dating back to 1773, Fox House was named after Mr Fox of Callow Farm and proved a popular spot for livestock drivers and stagecoach passengers. The large dining area was originally known as The Duke’s Room as the Duke of Rutland often frequented the pub. After a bite to eat with us, why not make a day of it and discover the rambler’s paradise beyond our walls around Longshaw Estate. Or, you could extend your visit even longer with a night in the Fox House Innkeepers Lodge, a charming B&B located opposite the pub. As part of the Vintage Inns family, we’re proud of our heritage and welcoming service which ensures you’ll always receive the full Vintage treatment. The countryside is calling.
