WE’VE GOT BEEF AGAIN. 🥩

Thanks for all the support, messages and puns after Friday’s unexpected beef-related drama. You lot definitely cheered us up after a pretty crappy morning. ❤️🫶

The good news? Father’s Day is very much ON

The replacement joints are in, looking lovely, and we’re ready for a full house. 👀🔥👌

To everyone who managed to bag a table, we’ll see you soon. ✌️

And to everyone we couldn’t squeeze in, we’re super sorry! The response to our roasts has been absolutely ridiculous and we’re massively grateful you keep choosing to spend your weekends with us. 🥹

A little heads up that it’s going to be a busy one, so please bear with our team. They’ll be working flat out all day to make sure everyone has a cracking time.

Although we’re fully booked for roasts, we’re still open in the bar area (and on the terrace) for beers, live music and World Cup games 🍺☀️

So if you fancy treating Dad to a pint (or a 1L stein) from 34 taps of Europe’s finest, you know where we are.

SOMEONE STOLE OUR BEEF 🥩😐🚨

Woke up this morning to find someone had smashed their way into Kapital overnight and helped themselves to four joints of beef we’d bought in for our fully booked Father’s Day service 🙃

Now, we know our Sunday roasts are really good…

But smashing a massive window and crawling through it at 5am? We’re flattered, but come on FFS.

Maybe a disgruntled Dad who couldn’t get a table for Father’s Day. Maybe not. We’ll probably never know.

It’s not even the beef we’re most bothered about.

It’s the smashed window. The repairs. The clean-up. The hassle. We’ve spent all week grafting to get ready for Father’s Day and now we’re dealing with this instead… A tough one to swallow for any independent business, ahead of one of the busiest days of the year.

Anyway, we’re open as normal today. Just with a slightly more boarded-up aesthetic than usual.

And if you’re joining us for Father’s Day on Sunday, don’t stress. Replacement joints are en-route and every booking will be looked after exactly as planned 👍

Massive thanks to our team, our suppliers and everyone who’s helped us get things sorted at short notice. Properly appreciated 🙏🏻
