What. A. Day.

That has to be one of the best Coffee & Cars meets we've ever had. The place was absolutely packed, the weather turned up and so did all of you.

A huge thank you to Genome Design Porsche for bringing some incredible cars, and to everyone who filled the site with Porsches, classics, supercars and everything in between. Everywhere you looked there was another car you hadn't spotted yet.

These meets are all about getting people together over a coffee and a shared love of cars, and this one felt pretty special.

Thanks to everyone who came along. Same time next weekend?

Still not sure which eyes are which....

We got a great view of them though - including some very special Imprezas under the big screen. That 22B is one of only 14 UK cars made!

Thanks to the Subaru Drivers Club, and all the Scoobies who turned up, and remember you should come back tomorrow to see a similar number of Porsches at Coffee and Cars.

THIS WEDNESDAY - Autotest passenger rides with York Motor Club!

That's right, you get to see what it's all about, riding along with experienced autotest drivers on the grass track, all completely FREE.

Tiff Needell and AdamC3046 gave it a go at Motorist Fest, with... interesting results. Look out for the video of that tomorrow!

They'll be running until 8.30pm, and there are a few conditions - see these below.

Requirements to take a free Passenger/demonstration ride:
• You must be 14 years in age or older. (proof of age will be required for anyone under 18 years old)
• A parent or Guardian must be able to sign on for anyone between the ages of 14 and 18 years old.
• Passengers over 18 years old must sign on before taking a passenger ride.
• You must be physically able to use the seat and seat belt provided to participate in the taster passenger ride.
• All passengers must have obtained the free of charge MSUK (motorsport UK) RS clubman licence. You must be able to show proof of this when you sign on.
• The link in the comments gives information about the free licence and how to get it, or use the QR code.

That was a great day, even if we were denied the race ending we deserved!

The prancing horses were out in force for their meet (looking at you, Ferrari Owners' Club GB Ltd), and [spoiler] they clearly saw success at Silverstone, too. SC:UK - The Sports & Supercar Club also showed up in numbers, bringing the horsepower total to well into the thousands.

Thanks to all who attended - it's all you guys and girls who make these events!
