Something I'm really passionate about with HameCooked is using local produce wherever possible, so deliveries like this make me especially happy. 😊

Today I received a delivery of locally grown carrots, and I can't wait to use them in my carrot and coriander soup next week!

Supporting local growers and producers is at the heart of what HameCooked is all about. Not only does it help reduce food miles, but it means I can create homemade meals using fresh, quality ingredients grown right here in Shetland. 🌱

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered so far this week. 😊

Orders have come in so quickly, and I honestly couldn't be more grateful. I have to admit, I was a little nervous introducing a couple of new dishes on the menu this week, but your response has been amazing.

The biggest surprise has been the Chicken & Leek Pie β€” it seems to be a real favourite already, with lots of customers ordering extra portions πŸ’œ

It’s so lovely seeing which meals become favourites and getting that feedback from customers. Every week I'm learning more about what people enjoy, while continuing to create homemade meals from scratch using quality ingredients.
