The Barley Mow Friskney Village pub & restaurant, proudly serving under the same owners since 1998.. Dogs welcome in bar area & garden only, limited spaces. Everyone is welcome.

we’ve grown & developed over the years with lots of passion & love for the best food, drinks & service that we offer. We are a lovely country pub with a modern feel, under the same management since 1998, originally a small pub and over the years we have altered and extended the building to make it what it is today. We open 4 days a week, closing all day on a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. We have a

main menu that changes every 3 months, based on seasons and availability of ingredients, alongside that we offer the best Sunday roasts (sunday lunchtime), childrens menu, snack menu for the garden area and yummy homemade desserts and coffees. Plus a fab Set menu available Thursday and Friday evening from 5-6pm and Friday and Saturday Lunchtime from 12-2pm. Pop in and recharge with a pint of our wonderful beer or even a coffee and a pubmade pudding. Dogs are welcome in designated areas. Food available
Thursday, Friday 5-8pm
Friday and Saturday 12 -2pm
Saturday Night 5-8.30pm
Sunday Lunch 12-5pm


It is recommended to book a table. Tables for four -6 have a 2 hour sitting. Tables for 2 have 1 hour 45 minutes. We use these times as a guideline. We look forward to welcoming you to the Barley Mow.

One of our team members are planning to go to Uni in September, we need to fill their position, starting in July.

We are a busy pub restaurant and the kitchen porters job role plays a vital part in the final product that our customers know and love.
It includes washing up lots of plates, tubs, tins and pans, helping the chefs with some basic prep work and cleaning of the kitchen, helping maintain our 5 star hygiene award.

We all work hard and are looking for that right person to join our team.
